The helpline for victims of domestic violence has several purposes and functions:

• Information and consultation: Helpline offers victims information and advice on available resources and services such as shelters, help centers, legal aid and medical support. Operators can provide information about the rights of victims of domestic violence, procedures for obtaining protective measures and legal assistance.
• Crisis Intervention: Helpline can provide crisis intervention intervene by offering support and advice to victims in situations where the threat of violence is immediate and prompt action is required. Helpline operators can refer victims to emergency services such as police or ambulance if needed.
• Anonymity and Privacy: Helpline provides victims anonymity and confidentiality. This means that victims can seek help without disclosing their identity and location. This is important for those who are shy or afraid to reveal their situation and are looking for a safe place to get support and advice.

The Aurora Women`s Project Helpline for Victims of Domestic Violence plays an important role in providing first aid and support to victims. It provides a safe and supportive space where victims can express their concerns, receive information and advice, and make decisions for their safety and well-being.

In addition to consultations, we provide shelter for women victims of violence, as well as their children.
