What is Shelter for Women?

A crisis center, shelter provides temporary accommodation for women with children, helps to find a job, arrange a child in a kindergarten or school.

The Anti-Crisis Women's Center provides comprehensive assistance to women who have suffered from violence and abuse - physical, psychological, economic and / or sexual.

The shelter offers psychological assistance, medical assistance, legal support and assistance from social workers. This support allows women in trouble to survive what happened, adapt and start living independently.

Shelter is located in the center of Odessa, equipped with everything necessary to provide a temporary safe haven for victims of abuse who fear persecution from their partners. The women`s center employs specialists who provide comprehensive assistance: legal, psychological and medical. The shelter has six comfortable rooms where you can live with children. There are also common areas: kitchen, living room, laundry room, children`s playroom.

The women`s center has educators, a speech therapist and a psychologist who work with children living in the shelter. Crisis center staff do everything possible to minimize the emotional harm caused to children. For preschoolers, a group of day stay with developing activities is organized.
